Check check, #18 comes tomorrow

Nothing came easy for the C's last night and the Lakers thumped the green machine 89-67. The first sign that things were not going to be good for C's was when the camera panned to Dane Cook wearing a Celtics shirt. Nothing like a good d-bag D-lister to bring bad karma. The Celtics shot a dismal 33% from the field and R. Allen led Celtics players with 19 points while KG and Pierce combined for 25.

One good thing to take from this is the history the Celtics have with game 7s, they've never lost one (according to Shaughnessy) and have beaten L.A. 4 times in game 7. The Celtics lost Perk last night with sprained ligaments in his knee and will likely be out tomorrow night, which means that Davis/Wallace/Scal will have to have a big game. With that combination the Celtics will actually be more capable on offense but will likely lose a couple of those 50-50 balls in the paint.

This has the potential to be one of the best NBA games ever, and I think the majority of TCD will be pulling for the green, minus the founder of course. Best.

  1. make no mistake crash...I'm not the only staffer who wants to see the Cs lose. In fact, we're damn near 50%.
