Sheen Looking For An Intern

A part of me still thinks that Sheen may be playing a joke on all of us - so I don't feel 100% awful for exploiting what may be a bad situation for blogging purposes. Especially while I am fill in CEO for the week.

The jangled life of Charlie Sheen continues to provide us blog-worthy material on an almost daily basis. After spouting highly entertaining terrestrial gibberish on the morning TV circuit last week, and acquiring 1mm Twitter followers in a matter of days -apparently a Guiness World Record – now at 2mm + , Mr. Sheen is in need of a media-savvy intern to leverage his social network. The qualifications you ask? Here's a snippet:

Do you have #TigerBlood? Are you all about #Winning? Can you #PlanBetter than anyone else? If so, we want you on #TeamSheen as our social media #TigerBloodIntern!

Can someone please create a reality TV program that'll follow Chuck and the intern so we can all witness the hijinx/weirdness that'll inevitably follow? Word is that Mark Cuban might be already on that. Explosive combo. Stay tuned.

Circling Back With Double Rainbow Guy

TCD has covered - award winningly - the Double Rainbow guy in the past. Now this beardo is prolonging his 15 unintentional minutes with the intentional launch of his own iPhone app. It's $.99 and does the following: (From Mashable.com)

The Double Rainbow guy has an iPhone app now. It’s not exactly groundbreaking, and it will get old very quickly, but hey, it’s only 99 cents.

When you load the app [iTunes link], you’re greeted with a colorful message that simply says, “FULL ON.” The next screen is the only screen in the app: It’s just like the default camera app for the iPhone, but it puts a transparent double rainbow “all the way across the sky” in every image.

Purely judging by appearance, I'm assuming he did NOT develop this himself which means that someone out there is jointly cashing in. This raises the question: What's been the most profitable acid trip in American history? HST in Las Vegas? (or course that wasn't only acid). Everything Ken Kesey did?

Fundies: Underwear built for two

This product is absolutely for real. In fact, here's the link to purchase the on Amazon

The marketing copy disappoints unfortunately:

* Just when you thought underwear couldnt get any more fun weve come up with Fundies
* What are Fundies you ask? Theyre underwear built for two!
* That means twice the fun just how will you put them on?

WWII British Sea Forts

During the Second World War, the British Royal Navy constructed a series of sea forts for an advanced line of defense against inbound air raids and potential sea invasions from the Axis powers. The Maunsell Sea Forts still stand today, silent and abandoned a few meters above the North Sea. One, however, remains inhabited, now a nation of its own referred to as the Principality of Sealand. These sea forts are a favorite of maritime explorers, a lonely collection of stilted fortresses not far off the coast of eastern England.

British Dude Says More in his Sleep than I do in a day

I question whether this is real or simply a publicity stunt. However, this content should be shared - its pretty ridiculous. I was introduced to this blog yesterday. Apparently there is a guy in the UK who just does not shut up in his sleep. His wife caught on to him and started to write down/record his "musings" and then slapped them on this blog. I may be the last guy to have heard of this (he gets a lot of comments) but I thought I'd share it with the TCD community.

P.S. Is anyone reminded of a certain "Big Wave" when reading/hearing some of these?
