The Great Chest Hair Debate

The TCD staff runs the gamut when it comes to chest hair grooming. Snipes and Phil go bald. C9 features the likeness of a great marine mammal. JVining and Crash opt for the sweater vest look. It all comes together here in this "risque, but fun" video that appears to feature as many male as female thongs. Gross.

I've been meaning to post this clip for a while but have been too busy forgetting. The commentary is pretty hilarious. If only the feds had "performing the 'Dougie'" as part of the usual DUI field sobriety test routine, Braylon probably would have been fine.

If you don't know about the 'Dougie,' you can read about it in the WSJ. Also, the Toro y Moi version of 'Dougie' is way better than the original beat.

Plants Need Water, Man

I just read/watched Phil's post about Yo-Gabba-Gabba - some really weird stuff that made me wonder what in the hell today's children are getting out of that drug-induced children's television. Then I thought back to my days as a wee lad, crushing a lot of Sesame Street with the brother right below me, Ben. We loved Sesame Street and still recall some of our favorite skits. For some reason "Plants Need Water, Man" has stuck with us to this day. Even as 4 and 6 year olds, we could tell that these kids were "not right" but still teaching us a valuable lesson that plants can not be revived by trombones. Ah, 1989.

Just when you thought this story couldn't get any more humorous, some news station, not in the United States, created a wonderful reenactment of the Steven Slater flipout. All of this is funny but my favorite part is his enthusiastic head nod upon reaching the beverage container. Forgive me if I don't know what language this is. My Wayne's World experience tells me it could be Cantonese.
