Cold Atlantic and Peter Kirk

My good buddy, Jared McCarthy, recently revived his blog Cold Atlantic. Jared and I grew up in the same neighborhood and spent a lot of time listening to and talking about music - with many of my favorite bands coming at his recommendation.

As I was surfing the Cold Atlantic last week, I came across Peter Kirk. From what I can tell, Peter Kirk is a one man operation who must be a production master because his EP, "Chasing Rainbows," is incredibly polished. Every little nuance in a track serves a kick ass purpose. Jared describes the music very well in his post. There seems to be some Paul Simon influence, too. Best.
