Fox News BLOWS It
"The Onion"... one of the best satirical newspapers/sites ever (SATIRICAL) published a great headline and short piece that read:
"Frustrated Obama Sends Nation Rambling 75,000-Word Email"
Well the brainiacs at Fox - easily one of the biggest jokes in "news" media - somehow didn't get the joke and ran the story as REAL. The equally brainy fans of Fox News responded maligning Obama and the left. We all know that Fox does not fact check at all before running stories (watch any episode of the Daily Show and it's clear) but this is one of the funniest yet.
Here's a link that takes you to the Fox News article and a screen shot of idiotic reader comments.
Editorial: To everyone at Fox News: What a f**king joke you people are.

Magic: The Gathering
This new guy at the place I work at is a bit of an odd-ball and yesterday I happened to look over at his screen and he was checking out some site about Magic: The Gathering. I couldn't believe it. To paint a picture for you, this kid is 23 and is a tech guy. He looks like he's about 35 and lives with his parents and commutes 180 miles total each day (he drives a hybrid). The other day, he ate some cookies for breakfast then ate enough Chinese food to feed a small family, and finished the rest for lunch today. So many jobs.

Thank god this is happening in Europe and not here...
Budweiser Shortage Latest Hiccup for InBev's Anheuser-Busch
There was a bit of a bar fight in western Europe this week after Saint Louis-based brewing giant Anheuser-Busch InBev announced they were cutting 800 jobs-- about 10 percent of their workforce there. Laid-off workers in Belgium have barricaded the doors to their breweries and won't let other employees come to work. The result will likely be--no god no!--a country wide beer shortage if the dispute isn't settled soon.Read the full piece here.
