Wofford had no answer for Fredette. They doubled him, tried running a zone, forced him to his weak side (left) but he still managed to score 32 points, went 10/25 from the field and 2/9 from beyond the arc. A pretty pedestrian day for Fredette, but for him to do that in the first round of the tourney while the other team basically tried to shut him down is pretty impressive.
Fredette was the nation's highest scorer this year and is currently averaging 28.6 pts/game through last night's contest. His 3-pt percentage has fallen slightly and now he is shooting .399. I think he's going to shine in the tourney, and his supporting cast seems up to the task (even without Davies). At any rate, he's a lot of fun to watch.
He reminds me of me...if I could dribble...or shoot...
