Okay, so we all know that Pitchfork sometimes makes some VERY questionable comments about newly released music or lofty predictions about an album's success. They toss around the "best ever" label when talking about some mainstream artists (see: Kayne, Vampire Weekend) more than I do when talking about Sunday afternoon naps. Anyway, their top-100 list is great and while you will not find yourself nodding your head 100% of the time, you can easily calculate your head-nod percentage since there are 100 items on the list.
Rambling preamble completed,
I'll leave you with a taste:
#83 Surfer Blood "Floating Vibes"

#50 Cults "Go Outside"

#16 Beach House "Norway"
