This I don't get

Newton actually won this thing, and by a huge margin too, he got 729 first place votes and beat Luck by 1,184 points. On the field, Newton is easily the best player in college football and has been putting up crazy numbers in the SEC no less. I guess I am just surprised by this given the controversy, but maybe it really was his father's doing. It will be interesting to see how he fairs in the draft now, I have to believe that he will do pretty well considering he crushed the Heisman.
