A local high school is causing quite a controversy on the North Shore; Wakefield's Track and Field team have been wearing "WTF" sweatshirts, for Wakefield Track and Field, obviously. It seems that many parents and school officials are up in arms about the issue. I agree that it's probably not sending the right message, but it is funny. If they start selling the sweatshirts to raise money or for charity, they will go like hotcakes and all of this will be forgotten. This won't even be a story by next week, but until then, it gives plenty to talk about at the Wakefield PTA meetings.
