God apportioned the seasons very appropriately: shredding amongst that kind of beautfy would muddle the stimuli. (by the way, apropos of absolutely nothing, how sexy is Rene Zelwegger (sp?) singing "sugar high" on the rooftop of Empire Records? Definitely her peak. Not to mention the presence of The Cranberries, Toad and the Wet Sprocket, Gin Blossoms, and Better Than Ezra on that soundtrack. Say what you will of their artistic merits, there was refreshingly little irony to those bands. The 90s may have been America's most earnest decade.)
