Prehistoric beast stalks exclusive mountain resort

TCD Elk Mountain Covert Ops Facilitator codename KJ filed the following report:

"They found bones from a mammoth in Snowmass!"

The bones of a woolly mammoth estimated to be 10,000 years old were found outside Snowmass Village Thursday evening, a discovery one official heralded as “one of the most significant finds in Colorado.”

Snowmass Mayor Bill Boineau has this to add: “Hell, there's some real history here.”

Thanks Bill.

A note of caution to our Rocky Mountain interests: the 11.5 acre site is under 24 hour security watch with a chain link fence being erected shortly.

Check out the story from the Aspen Times (HST was a contributing editor back in the day) here.
