United Kingdom police are asking for help to solve the murder of a Government Communications Headquarters (GCHQ) employee widely believed to be on loan to MI6 - yeah, the MI6 of Bond lore - whose naked body was found inside a padlocked suitcase inside his bathroom.
Story here
So far the police have recovered tons of leads:
no sign of any forced entry to the property, and no signs of disturbance inside
no drugs, or indications of drug usage
no trace of any alcohol
no obvious cause of death
But when the death of a spy is splattered all over a foreign news service in hopes of finding a lead, there's got to be some additional spy work going down. The bros at MI6 are definitely sitting there chumming, hoping to make like the result of many a scene in a movie where the good guys decide on some "crazy" tactic of making news of the crime public in an effort to "let the guilty come to us." Seen it all before.
Don't fall for it, "' man and a woman, both of Mediterranean appearance," between the ages of 20 and 30 and who were seen entering Wiliams' apartment building late one evening in June or July."
On second thought, the cops are F'd on this one...
