A shot of self-confidence

Ryan Leaf is probably one of the biggest disappointments in life, let alone sports or the NFL. He was selected #2 overall by the Chargers in the 1998 draft and signed a 4 year $31.25 million contract with $11.25 guaranteed. He finished his career 3 years later with 3,666 passing yards and 14 TDs to 26 INTs for a 50 QB rating. Wow.

Since leaving the NFL he was asked to resign as the QB coach at West Texas A&M because he was caught asking a player for pain meds, and just last year he was indicted on burglary and controlled substances charges. He is currently living at home with his parents and trying to get his life back together.

Good luck to you Ryan, wherever you are, and thanks for making the rest of us feel a whole lot better about ourselves.
