Boston Ash Cloud?

Yesterday morning I woke up around 7:30, in Maine, immediately smelled smoke and panicked that I did something bad the night before. I scanned the house/backyard and everything seemed fine. Maybe a neighbor left a fire going or something. I got to the golf course a mile down the road and still smelled smoke. What the hell? Well, apparently there are 50 forest fires raging in Quebec and the wind is blowing smoke down across Maine, NH and VT. I just got back to Boston about 10 minutes ago and it looks extremely eerie out. The city is socked in this gross smokey haze. It looks like LA circa '88. Not sure why '88 but thats just how I picture LA in '88. Here is a picture I just took from my deck of downtown Boston.
