Dutch Government Uses 'Augmented Reality' To Shame Citizens Into Action

Here are the basics: The Dutch government was growing tired of passers by not taking action to intervene when there's an altercation or crime being committed on the street. To show people what their inactivity really looks like, they now use an Augmented Reality billboard where a live video of people passing by is overlayed with a previously shot blue-screen video of an altercation. As people gawk at the billboard, they see themselves in the midst of the violent situation pointing rather than acting. Strange stuff, but very interesting.
