The Coughing Dog welcomes guest columnist Andrew O'Brien to its staff

Okay...guest columnist is kind of misleading since I hope this is a full-time gig for him. Andy came up with the brilliant idea to sample the beverage selection at each bar with outside seating in the Boston metro area and then write about it for the blog. Yes, there are a shitload or bars in the Boston metro area with outside seating - this is going to be fun. This is clearly a great idea and The Coughing Dog is thrilled to have Andy on board to tip a few at local establishments in fair weather. In fact, I did just that with Andy and girlfriend Jen (below) this afternoon (post to follow shortly). So stay tuned.

I think it's also worth noting here that Andy made this generous offer fully aware that TCD corporate will not be underwriting any of his associated costs (excluding bail - we got you covered there buddy).
