Thats all part of the "lobster wars" taking place off of Matinicus Island, Maine. I've heard stories of lobstermen carrying shotguns in their boats and threatening idiots who mess with traps, but this seems to be a particularly heated case. Check the whole story here. Maine Lobster Wars
Chics with shotguns, old dudes with names like Vance Bunker shooting guys in the neck, lies, deception, suspicions and livelihoods? Over Xmas break I talked about this idea with some pro-shoppers. Families fighting fighting for their livelihoods on the Maine coast; it doesn't get more primal... But you gotta find actors that can nail the accent.
