L.L. Bean Signature Line

TCD doesn't write a whole lot about fashion, mainly because we don't know a whole lot about it. However, when it comes to L.L. Bean making moves, Snipes will pay attention. L.L. Bean has just unveiled their Signature Line; an updated version of their classics with a focus on a more tailored-like fit. L.L. Bean hired Alex Carleton, founder of Rogues Gallery, as the creative director for the project. The line is not made in defiance of the past but rather a touch up to the styles that remain timeless: tailored jackets, flannels, Beans footwear etc... I was emailing with one of my more sartorially-inclined buddies today and we both agreed that it is awesome to see a re-birth of a great American brand and the line will help Beans subtly edge in to the more fashion forward market. The Signature Line is not yet offered in the Freeport, ME store but available online and will eventually have its own shops.
