Should the US build a high-speed rail system? Hell yes.
China already has a fairly large network of high-speed rail lines and as a result, some domestic airlines there have reduced ticket prices by 80%.
Below is a proposed map showing a possible high-speed rail network for the US.

Looks like Denver gets the shaft on this one. Or does this map just grossly misinterpret where the I70 corridor is?
