From the staff at The Coughing Dog...here is a playlist of music we like. I used a site called GetPlaylists.com (currently in beta) to build the playlist since you can use iTunes and then upload it. However, not all of the indie requests made it as the site currently grabs its database from a third party.
Couple of songs that were supposed to be on here included:
The Memory Tapes - Bicycle
RaRa Riot - Oh, La
Julian Casablancas - 11th Dimension
Big Boi - Shine Blockas
The Radio Dept - Heaven's on Fire
GetPlaylists.com matches what they can from the playlist and automatically pulls in all the videos that are available. You can see the video stream here: The Coughing Dog Video Playlist.
We are more than willing to make playlists just for you. Give us some inspiration and we will let it rip!
One note: It looks like a couple of the playlists got uploaded as various artists instead of their actual name. On the streaming playlist all of the right names/titles do show.
ReplyDeletethis is sweet...love the video stream feature
ReplyDeleteexplain the BETA process to everyone out there Newc
Ah yes...the Internet's most used word and one the least applied properly. The beta process refers to software (or a site) that is not quite ready for prime time. Beta periods are often used to test features and functions, identify bugs, and get feedback on how an application might be used. All of the input/output is typically used to make a application better for a full release.
ReplyDeleteMany folks will notice the word beta out there on a lot of sites. Many companies use the word beta to give a new site some buzz and give early adopters the feeling of being a part of something new. Good beta sites will always offer links to feedback, encourage participation in ideas, and provide information about what is best tested.
