And I'm not talking about the Celtics, although it's obvious that they're not the team they were when the won the title. Garnett is not 100% as any novice will tell you, this became painfully obvious when Lewis ran by him at the end of Thursday's game and made an easy lay-up. Without a healthy Garnett, the C's aren't going anywhere, but that's for another time.
The debacle I am referring to has everything to do with the other team that plays at 1 Legends Way. The Bruins have just lost their 6th straight game and have only scored 3 goals over their last 3 games. The goaltending has not been great either but the glaring weakness is the offense (or lack thereoff). Having lost Phil Kessel to Toronto last year, the team does not have the firepower they once did. The B's have been plagued by injuries but with the kind of roster they have, they should not be playing like they have been. Lucic has been playing for a few weeks now but he has not been the same player he was last season, or in 2008 for that matter. Lucic's health is critical to the B's success; he's a known finesse player, he's called on for another skill...
Hopefully the B's can right the ship tonight against the Kings.
