Blue + Red = Green

Members of the notorious gangs the Bloods and the Crips have allegedly put aside decades of differences and are now collaborating on drug deals because C.R.E.A.M. TAKE THE MONEY DOLLA DOLLA BILLZ Y'ALL. The key takeaway from the WSJ article reporting the truce is the revelation that New England has 640 gangs. What!?!?

    I love how The Wire definitely wrote this story line into its shows several years ago. I wonder if this is just old news that the WSJ is late to get to or if these gang members love The Wire as much as I do.

    As to the 640 gangs, are they including blog consortium like The Coughing Dog crew? Because then that number makes sense.
