Heads Up, Gentlemen!
While the struggles of the lowly Nets have been well documented here, The Coughing Dog has yet to acknowledge the team just on the other side of the indoor ski area at Xanadu Meadowlands and across the Hudson River that is blowing the doors off the league. Let this be no longer! Check check, the New York Knickerbockers have a record of 4-14. Nevermind. BUT, check out the job the boys in orange and blue did to the team with the NBA's best record last night. With their winning percentage upped to .176, the Knicks could only climb as high as fifth place on the vaunted "Worst Winning Percentage of Team Beating Team with Best Record" list according to the good people, who include my landlord and downstairs neighbor*, at ESPN. Luckily for the Suns, they escape the tri-state area without having to face the Nets.
