Decade's Highest Grossing Touring Artists of North America

See the full list here.

Top 10 (staff opinions included free of charge)

1 - Dave Matthews, $529.1 million (Once I got over the fact that DMB is more than a band that chicks squeel over and realized that they actually have some solid tunes, seeing them tops on this list is not that surprising.)
2 - Celine Dion, $522.2 (Vomit. At least this product of America Jr did not come in first. Losing Gold is so Canadian.)
3 - Kenny Chesney, $455.6 (I wonder if I would be on this list too if I wrote a song about the brown chair I am sitting in while I write this post. Face it Crash, this dude's songs really do suck.)
4 - Bruce Springsteen, $444.3 (Number 4 on this list, number 1 in our hearts.)
5 - The Rolling Stones, $426.9 (I wonder how many Top 10 lists this band will dominate when all is said and done?)
6 - U2, $391.0 (6th place here, but tops the list of terrible NYT op-eds written by a band's lead singer.)
7 - Madonna, $325.3 (She beats out former flame A Rod's earnings this decade by approximately $25.3 mil. That can't make him happy. Time to renogotiate?)
8 - Eagles, $313.4 (Like The Dude, I am really more of a Creedance guy myself.)
9 - Elton John, $286.4 (Really nothing to add here.)
10 - Jimmy Buffett, $285.8 (TCD authors, fans, readers and friends probably account for $0.001 million of that total. Well done, team.)

  1. Solid list. Unfortunately, next decade's list will be dominated by Jonas Brothers and Mylie Cyruses and other talentless suckbags.
